About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and innovative Director of Marketing and Communications to lead our Marketing and Members' Events Teams at The Arts Club London. As a key member of our senior management team, you will be responsible for developing, planning, budgeting, and implementing marketing strategies to drive business growth and enhance our brand presence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans to increase brand awareness and drive membership sales
  • Lead the Marketing and Members' Events Teams to deliver high-quality events and experiences that meet the needs of our members
  • Collaborate with senior executives and key managers to ensure consistency across all marketing channels
  • Manage the development and implementation of our social media strategy, including content creation, scheduling, and copywriting
  • Oversee the management of our website, including content updates and maintenance
  • Develop and manage the marketing budget, including forecasting and financial reporting
  • Work closely with the Operations and Membership Teams to capture creative ideas and develop best marketing strategies
  • Develop and implement an employer branding and internal communication strategy to improve recruitment traction, employee engagement, and retention
  • Drive continuous analysis of the competitive environment and consumer trends to inform marketing strategies
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years of marketing, PR, and communications experience within luxury brands or hospitality sector
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies that drive business growth
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with senior executives, key managers, and members
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to spot original branding opportunities
  • Highly motivated, with a strong work ethic and ability to work under pressure
