Position Overview:
The Another Planet Entertainment (APE) Club Marketing Manager is tasked with overseeing marketing initiatives, promotional strategies, and advertising campaigns for concerts at select APE venues. This role involves collaborating closely with artist marketing teams to devise impactful marketing strategies and place advertisements that effectively reach the target audience for each event, ultimately driving ticket sales. The Club Marketing Manager will maintain ongoing communication with the APE Marketing team and report directly to the Directors of Marketing. This position requires proficiency in managing and monitoring advertising budgets while possessing a solid understanding of genre-specific marketing. Additionally, the role entails social media direction and management for designated APE venue channels. A strong background in the music industry is essential, and familiarity with APE venues is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies for select venues, including various APE-produced shows.
  • Create advertising plans and manage all promotional buys (radio, digital, OOH, print) for assigned venues.
  • Oversee the implementation of all media buys across various platforms.
  • Manage the creation and execution of marketing materials for assigned events.
  • Track and maintain advertising budgets from the announcement phase to the event date.
  • Act as the primary contact for artist teams regarding marketing communications for each event.
  • Coordinate media arrangements with artist PR teams concerning venue policies and relay necessary information to event staff.
  • Design and distribute email communications, including newsletters and updates to ticket purchasers.
  • Organize and monitor promotional giveaways in collaboration with external partners.
  • Oversee social media management for select venues.
  • Assist with media escorting duties at APE concert venues as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related discipline.
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience, preferably within the music sector.
  • Experience in media buying and developing strategic media plans.
  • Familiarity with marketing principles and digital marketing tools.
  • Creative skills and experience in managing social media platforms.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite.
  • Strong organizational, research, and project management abilities.
  • Capability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Basic understanding of SEO and SEM practices.

Compensation & Benefits Package:

SALARY: $65,000 – $70,000 (commensurate with experience)
