Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Band 6 Physiotherapist to become a vital part of our enthusiastic and supportive Paediatric Respiratory Therapy team. This position is located within a prominent healthcare institution that prioritizes children's health and well-being.
This is a full-time permanent role, requiring a commitment of hours per week, with a standard work schedule from Monday to Friday.
The responsibilities of this position will encompass exercise therapy and inpatient management for conditions such as cystic fibrosis and acute respiratory issues. Additionally, there will be opportunities to assist senior physiotherapists in managing outpatient clinics and respiratory caseloads as necessary.
The ideal candidate will be expected to exhibit flexibility in their work schedule to accommodate the needs of the Therapy Services, which may include weekend shifts, Bank Holiday responsibilities, and on-call duties. Comprehensive training will be provided to ensure readiness for these tasks.
Key Responsibilities

The successful applicant will need to showcase the ability to operate as an independent practitioner while managing diverse clinical caseloads and collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for motivating paediatric patients, their families, and colleagues.
Leadership and management capabilities are necessary to assist in supervising support staff, students, and junior physiotherapists.
