Clinical Psychologist Paediatric Respiratory Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trusts. As a Clinical Psychologist Paediatric Respiratory Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing specialist clinical psychology services to children and young people with respiratory conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Work closely with the medical service multidisciplinary team to provide consultation, direct work, and attend multidisciplinary clinics.
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans to help children and young people manage psychological distress and achieve better treatment outcomes.
- Provide training and supervision to other professionals and contribute to the development of clinical research.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and support for patients and their families.
- Completed postgraduate doctoral level DClinPsy in clinical psychology as accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS).
- Current Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) registration for Clinical Psychologist or eligibility to qualify for registration.
- Experience of working with children and adults with physical health problems or mental health issues.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, carers, and other professionals.
- Strong analytical and judgement skills, including the use of complex methods of psychological assessment and intervention.
