About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Physiotherapist to join our team at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust. As a Band 5 Physiotherapist, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality physiotherapy care to patients on our trauma wards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver individualized physiotherapy care to patients with a range of conditions, including musculoskeletal, neurological, and respiratory disorders.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop treatment plans to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Provide education and support to patients, families, and carers to promote independence and self-management.
  • Participate in on-call and weekend rotas to ensure 24/7 coverage.
Requirements
  • Full registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Experience working in an acute hospital setting, preferably in a trauma ward.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Basic IT skills and proficiency in using electronic patient records.
