About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Therapy Assistant to join our community therapy service at Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting patients in their own homes, community clinics, and care homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the acute rehabilitation of patients, helping them achieve their goals and regain independence and mobility.
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective care plans.
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and their families, promoting a positive and empowering experience.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of accurate and comprehensive patient records.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • NVQ III Diagnostic and Therapeutic Support or equivalent qualification.
  • Current full UK clean driving license.
  • Mathematics and English qualification to Level 2 or GCSE C.
  • Experience of working with patients in a healthcare environment.
  • Excellent IT skills and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
