About the Role:

Knoll is seeking an Assistant Manager to support our retail operations. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the General Manager to ensure the store's success. As the Assistant Manager, you will provide guidance and assistance to the team and assume managerial duties in the General Manager's absence. This position requires a balance between engaging with customers to drive sales and supporting the General Manager with various leadership tasks, including coaching, talent acquisition, and training initiatives. You will report directly to the General Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will have the chance to design, achieve, and cultivate relationships as you:

  • Enhance client engagement with the Knoll brand and foster community outreach.
  • Oversee the performance of all Sales Associates.
  • Manage the complete client journey to meet and surpass sales objectives.
  • Participate in store meetings, engage in product training, and share insights with colleagues.
  • Assist in upholding the store's design and visual merchandising standards.
  • Address customer needs and resolve issues in alignment with the Knoll Client Experience.
  • Collaborate with team members to promote a positive work environment.

Are You the Right Fit?

You may be an ideal candidate if you possess the following qualifications:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in retail leadership is preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to identify client needs, solve problems, and articulate product features and benefits.
  • Capable of regularly lifting objects weighing over 20 pounds and understanding safety protocols.
