Assistant Site Manager - One Retail

Position: Assistant Site Manager
Location: One Retail
Salary: 35,000 PA

Are you an experienced leader with a commitment to providing exceptional service in a retail environment? We are seeking an Assistant Site Manager to enhance our operations at One Retail.
This position is vital for ensuring that our services are delivered efficiently and effectively, aligning with the needs of the organization, clients, and customers. You will be responsible for resource allocation to meet operational demands and uphold service quality standards. You will oversee the performance of team members and supervisors on-site and act in place of the Site General Manager when required.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the representative of the Site General Manager during their absence, managing site operations and serving as the main point of contact for clients.
  • Fully comprehend contractual service level agreements (SLAs) and take charge of service delivery in accordance with these agreements.
  • Ensure service consistency by covering for Supervisors when necessary.
  • Collaborate with site Supervisors to guarantee adherence to all operational processes and procedures.
  • Manage the effective allocation of team members and Supervisors during shifts and prepare for upcoming shifts.
  • Ensure the consistent execution of Supervisor responsibilities within the site.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure operations are safe and compliant with SLAs.
  • Perform routine service audits and monitor quality standards, striving for continuous improvement in service delivery.
  • Proactively identify and resolve service delivery issues, escalating when necessary.
  • Explore methods to optimize labor costs while maintaining service standards.
  • Assist the Site General Manager with process implementation and documentation.
  • Investigate reports and complaints, providing timely and professional responses.
  • Support the Site General Manager with the introduction of new technologies and innovations.
  • Be adaptable in your duties to meet the needs of the organization, clients, and customers.
  • Serve as the On-Call senior manager for the contract on a rotational basis.
  • Execute any reasonable instructions as directed by the Contract Director or General Manager.
Health, Safety, & Environment:
  • Implement and uphold company and industry policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of necessary documentation, including cleaning schedules and safety audits.
  • Conduct regular checks to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Report and investigate incidents and near misses to enhance safety protocols.
  • Represent the site at health and safety meetings.
Human Resources:
  • Lead by example, maintaining professionalism and inspiring confidence in your team.
  • Foster a culture of accountability to deliver outstanding services.
  • Recognize and reward exceptional performance through company recognition programs.
  • Identify training needs and opportunities for team development.
  • Address performance issues of team members and Supervisors, escalating as necessary.
  • Implement company policies related to performance management and staff induction.
Finance:
  • Understand and make informed decisions based on the financial requirements of the service.
  • Work with the Site General Manager to comprehend and execute the budget.
  • Oversee staffing schedules to ensure adequate coverage and manage overtime within budget constraints.
  • Manage the ordering and distribution of supplies in line with company policy.
Relationship Management:
  • Uphold company values and act as an ambassador for the organization.
  • Build strong communication and relationships at all levels within the team and with clients.
  • Promote a culture of inclusion, respect, and courtesy.
  • Maximize customer satisfaction through effective resolution of issues.
  • Encourage team members to develop their skills and potential.
