About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Operations Manager to join our team at Cavendish Professionals. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our construction sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Programme Management: Assist in the development and management of the construction programme, ensuring timely completion of projects.
  • Site Supervision: Oversee the daily operations of the site, including the work of subcontractors and site workers.
  • Resource Management: Coordinate the use of materials, tools, and equipment on site, ensuring efficient use and minimizing waste.
  • Quality Control: Monitor the work of subcontractors to ensure it meets the required standards and specifications.
  • Communication and Coordination: Liaise between subcontractors and main contractors to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of site attendance, progress reports, and incident logs.
  • Problem Solving: Identify and address any challenges or issues that arise during construction, including delays, material shortages, or unexpected complications.
  • Compliance: Ensure all projects are compliant with local authority regulations, building control, and relevant legal or environmental regulations.
Requirements
  • Hands-on Approach: As a small company, there may be a need to perform some manual tasks.
  • Desire to Progress: We offer training and upskilling opportunities to help you progress towards a professional role.
  • Driving Licence: A driving licence is preferred, but not essential.
  • Willingness to Travel: You may be required to travel to various sites and locations.
