Assistant Site Manager - One Retail

Position: Assistant Site Manager
Location: One Retail
Salary: 35,000 PA
Are you an experienced leader with a commitment to excellence in service delivery within a retail environment? We are seeking an Assistant Site Manager to oversee operations at One Retail.
This role is essential for ensuring that our services are executed effectively and efficiently, aligning with the expectations of the Company, Clients, and Customers. You will be responsible for managing resources to fulfill the operational needs of the Company, Clients, and Customers. Your focus will be on delivering a service that meets or surpasses the performance standards set by the Company and Clients. You will also be accountable for the performance of your team members and supervisors at the site.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the representative for the Site Manager in their absence, overseeing site operations and serving as the main point of contact for Clients.
  • Fully comprehend contractual Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and take charge of service delivery in accordance with these agreements.
  • Ensure consistent service delivery by stepping in for Supervisors when necessary.
  • Work closely with site Supervisors to guarantee adherence to all operational processes and procedures.
  • Manage the allocation of team members and Supervisors during shifts and prepare for upcoming shifts.
  • Ensure the consistent execution of Supervisor duties within the site.
  • Conduct regular inspections of various departments to ensure compliance with operational standards.
  • Perform routine service audits and monitor quality standards, striving for continuous improvement.
  • Identify and address any service delivery shortfalls proactively, escalating issues as needed.
  • Explore opportunities to optimize labor costs while maintaining service quality.
  • Assist the Site Manager with process implementation and documentation tasks.
  • Investigate reports and complaints, providing timely and professional responses.
  • Support the Site Manager with the introduction of new technologies and innovative practices.
  • Be adaptable in your duties to meet the needs of the Company, Clients, and Customers.
  • Serve as the On-Call senior manager for the contract on a rotational basis.
  • Execute any reasonable instructions as directed by the Contract Director or Site Manager.
Health, Safety, & Environment:
  • Implement and uphold Company and regulatory policies to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of necessary documentation, including safety audits and management systems.
  • Conduct regular checks to ensure compliance with health and safety procedures.
  • Document and investigate incidents and near misses.
  • Represent the site at health and safety meetings.
Human Resources:
  • Lead by example, demonstrating professionalism and instilling confidence in your team.
  • Foster a culture of accountability to deliver outstanding services.
  • Acknowledge and reward exceptional performance through Company recognition programs.
  • Identify training and development needs for team members and Supervisors.
  • Address performance issues of team members and Supervisors, escalating when necessary.
  • Implement Company policies regarding performance management and staff induction.
Finance:
  • Understand and make informed decisions based on the financial aspects of the service.
  • Collaborate with the Site Manager to implement the budget effectively.
  • Oversee staffing schedules to ensure adequate coverage and manage overtime within budget constraints.
  • Manage the ordering and distribution of supplies in accordance with Company policy.
Relationship Management:
  • Uphold Company values and act as an Ambassador for the organization.
  • Build strong communication and relationships at all levels within the team, Clients, and Customers.
  • Promote a culture of inclusion, respect, and fairness.
  • Enhance customer satisfaction through effective resolution of complaints and requests.
  • Encourage team members to develop their skills and potential.
  • Maintain confidentiality to protect the Company's interests.
