Salary and benefits: Competitive salary range of £55-70,000, complemented by an annual bonus potential of 16-32%, private health insurance, 38 days of annual leave, a 10% non-contributory pension scheme, life assurance at 12 times the salary, career break options, income protection, three volunteering days, and additional perks.

Role Overview:

We are excited to present an opportunity for a Commercial Partnerships Manager to oversee the Client Facing, Financial Services & Marketing category.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the comprehensive management of sourcing and supplier relationships within the client-facing financial services and marketing sectors. This includes:

  • Category Strategy Development: Formulate and execute strategic procurement initiatives that align with category objectives and the organization’s goals.
  • Supplier Management: Identify and manage relationships with key suppliers to ensure the delivery of high-quality services and products at competitive rates.
  • Sourcing and Negotiation: Lead significant sourcing projects, negotiate contracts, and oversee supplier performance to achieve cost efficiencies and minimize risks.
  • Cost Optimization: Implement strategies to optimize costs, including demand management and process improvements to enhance profitability.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify and address risks related to sourcing activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and business continuity.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including Finance, Legal, and Risk, to understand their needs and provide strategic support.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives aimed at enhancing procurement practices and supplier management, ensuring best practices are adopted.
  • Performance Measurement: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess team performance and identify areas for improvement.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

We are looking for individuals with:

  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical capabilities and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • In-depth knowledge of the financial services and marketing landscape, including familiarity with established and emerging service providers.
  • Current understanding of contracting frameworks and financial services regulations.
  • Experience with procurement tools and systems.
  • The ability to work autonomously, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
