Role Overview:
We are excited to present an opportunity within our Centre of Excellence for a Performance Manager focused on Intragroup operations.
Key Responsibilities:
The incumbent will ensure that procurement practices across the organization adhere to compliance standards, align with industry best practices, and meet regulatory obligations. Responsibilities include:
- Evaluating procurement performance and expenditure metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
- Developing strategies to enhance procurement efficiency and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and policies.
- Monitoring supplier performance and managing contractual metrics to mitigate risks and optimize procurement results.
- Leading the establishment and maintenance of intragroup arrangements within the business.
Performance Management: Oversee key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics across Commercial Partnerships to assess the efficiency and quality of procurement activities.
Analysis and Opportunity Identification: Analyze performance and contract data to uncover trends, issues, and opportunities for enhancement, while creating impactful dashboards and reports.
Governance and Compliance: Support the enforcement of procurement policies and standards to ensure compliance with legal regulations and organizational policies, while managing associated risks.
Pipeline Reporting: Track all pipeline activities to ensure the function meets its committed KPIs and address any capacity or capability issues.
Process Improvement: Continuously review and optimize procurement processes and systems to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve supplier performance, potentially involving new procurement technologies.
Sourcing Support: Lead or assist in complex sourcing initiatives as needed.
Supplier Relationship Management: Develop frameworks for managing relationships with key suppliers, focusing on performance management, risk assessment, and collaboration on innovation and sustainability efforts.
Stakeholder Engagement: Create and maintain a comprehensive map of key stakeholders, both internal and external, and develop an engagement plan to keep them informed and involved.
Training and Development: Design and deliver training programs to ensure procurement colleagues understand and adhere to governance policies and enhance their skills and expertise.
Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of continuous improvement and ethical procurement practices.
Reporting: Assist in generating regular reports for senior management on procurement performance, governance issues, and strategic initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for informed decision-making.
Tooling: Lead or support the implementation of tools to maximize their usage within the function.

- Strategic thinking and excellent communication abilities.
- A deep understanding of procurement best practices, legal and regulatory requirements, and risk management.
- Current knowledge of contracting models and commercial terms, with the confidence to negotiate effectively.
- Familiarity with financial services regulations.
- Experience with procurement tools and systems.
