The Hyde Group is seeking a dedicated Service Charge Operations Lead to join our team.
As a prominent provider of affordable housing in the UK, Hyde manages a substantial portfolio of properties, ensuring that our residents have access to safe and quality homes. Our mission is to empower our customers, enhance their living environments, and foster community engagement.
In the role of Service Charge Operations Lead, you will oversee the Service Charge Team, ensuring the precise calculation and management of service charges across our properties. Your leadership will be vital in driving team performance, adhering to regulatory standards, and supporting the financial integrity of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and support the service charge team to achieve operational excellence.
- Promote a culture of collaboration and inclusivity within the team.
- Identify training needs and facilitate ongoing professional development for team members.
- Establish clear objectives, track performance metrics, and conduct regular evaluations.
- Stay informed on relevant legislation and develop service charge policies that comply with legal requirements.
- Oversee the annual budgeting process and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
Required Skills and Experience
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a managerial role focused on service charge calculations and compliance.
- Proven leadership abilities and experience in team management.
- Strong understanding of financial analysis and risk management related to service charges.
- Capability to manage comprehensive service charge administration, including budgeting and customer relations.
