Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Charge Accountant to join our dynamic team. As a Service Charge Accountant, you will play a critical role in managing the financial aspects of our property service charges across all developments.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Financial Analysis: Prepare and analyze expenditure reports and financial figures related to service charges, ensuring accuracy and financial stability.
  2. Reconciliation and Forecasting: Conduct reconciliations and forecasts to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  3. Banking and Cash Management: Manage the bank run processes, handling incoming and outgoing funds, and ensure seamless financial transactions.
  4. Service Charge Management: Raise demands for service charges and ensure timely collection, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  5. Process Improvement: Drive process improvements and efficiencies within the service charge accounting function, enhancing overall performance and productivity.

Requirements

  1. Proven Experience: Proven experience as a Service Charge Accountant, with a strong background in financial management and analysis.
  2. Financial Acumen: Strong financial acumen, with the ability to analyze data and prepare accurate reports, ensuring timely and informed decision-making.
  3. Reconciliation and Forecasting Skills: Proficiency in financial reconciliations and forecasting, with the ability to identify trends and areas for improvement.
