In response to our continuous growth, NEC SWS Public Safety is expanding its Internal Sales team.

The Client Relations Specialist will play a crucial role in the retention and expansion of the Public Safety division, efficiently managing renewals and smaller value orders.

Success in this role will be gauged by the individual's capacity to accurately forecast new opportunities that drive revenue and margin, while exceeding customer expectations for the delivery of straightforward proposals and identifying new business avenues in alignment with NEC Sales Governance protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely progression and processing of renewals, securing multi-year agreements where feasible.
  • Identify and manage opportunities, being accountable for revenue targets related to small and lower value orders as outlined in the internal sales commission plans.
  • Oversee commercial and contractual relationships for smaller sales opportunities, ensuring compliance with NEC terms and conditions to maximize profitability and contract longevity.
  • Establish NEC as a trusted partner, ensuring prompt responses to customer inquiries.
  • Foster productive relationships with NEC team members across sales, projects, support, and service lines to develop effective solutions for customer challenges.
  • Comprehend customer pain points and collaborate with NEC SWS stakeholders to provide swift resolutions.
  • Ensure adherence to mandated processes and governance, including OAM, ECREM production, and CRM data management.
  • Maintain accurate and complete data within CRM to support financial forecasting and resource planning.
  • Process won deals promptly, resolving any issues to facilitate timely action and invoicing by delivery teams.

Qualifications:

Skills & Experience:

  • Strong understanding of the Emergency Services Sector, with the ability to discuss Police Systems, Services, and Solutions competently.
  • Proven experience in managing key stakeholders both internally and externally.
  • Demonstrated ability to oversee and shape sales opportunities from inception to completion.
  • Strong commercial acumen.
  • Excellent decision-making and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience in delivering or selling solutions related to public safety and/or mission-critical environments.
  • Ability to resolve customer account issues to ensure high satisfaction levels.
  • Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
  • High standard of written communication.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
