About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Employee Relations Specialist to join our client's HR team in Nottingham. As an Employee Relations Specialist, you will play a key role in shaping the future of Employee Relations within the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Training and Development: Design and deliver training programs to upskill HR Advisors and Managers on Employee Relations best practices, including coaching and process improvements.
  • Framework and Process Implementation: Collaborate with the Risk & Compliance team to develop a new risk management scale for Employee Relations cases, defining accountability and processes for logging and tracking ER cases.
  • Complex Case Management: Lead on a small volume of complex/high-risk Employee Relations cases, conducting investigations and working with senior stakeholders to drive commercial success.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in delivering complex/high-risk Employee Relations cases in a professional services environment.
  • Experience working with and influencing highly commercial and challenging stakeholders.
  • Experience designing and delivering new processes focused on Employee Relations management.
  • Experience upskilling and training HR Advisors to provide pragmatic advice and navigate ER grey areas.
  • Ability to identify trends through ER activity and feed findings into the wider people agenda.
  • Confident and resilient Employee Relations expert with technical brilliance.
  • Evidence of challenging current ways of working and driving engagement and buy-in from HR teams and the wider business on process changes.
