Regulatory Governance Senior Manager – Salary circa £70,000

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Regulatory Governance Senior Manager to lead our Risk & Governance Customer Communications Framework Team. As a key member of our Risk & Governance team, you will be responsible for working with the business to embed and enhance business processes, guidance, tools, and methodologies underpinning our frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the framework team and provide guidance to a virtual team across the UKGI business to ensure our communications deliver good outcomes for our customers.
  • Provide risk-focused assurance against framework adherence, targeting rapid identification of enhancement areas and support remediation.
  • Develop and maintain the UKGI communications frameworks and supporting tools, ensuring continuous enhancement and delivery of robust insightful reporting and analysis.
  • Collaborate with the business to design and deliver assurance to monitor framework adherence, and provide oversight reporting to senior committees and forums.
  • Drive the identification of opportunities for automation and AI in the delivery of good customer outcomes, assurance approaches, reporting, and analysis.

Requirements

  • Expertise in risk, control, and assurance methodology and its operation within the Financial Services Industry.
  • Understanding of Consumer Duty regulatory requirements and customer communications.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with effective communication and influencing abilities.
  • Advanced planning, prioritising, and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.
  • Strong analytical skills and a critical thinker, using data to build reporting, interpret output, identify trends, and demonstrate good outcomes for customers.
  • Experience of leading people, including virtual teams across business areas and reporting lines.
