Job Summary

The Regulatory Operations Lead will be responsible for leading a team of senior technicians in the Claims Operations department. The jobholder will have direct leadership responsibility for a team of up to 20 colleagues and will be responsible for managing the matrix in which these colleagues and their leaders sit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, monitor, and review the performance of the Claims Operations team, taking decisions relating to prioritization of work and agreeing action plans with the teams to address specific areas of performance.
  • Work closely with the Business Practice leaders to ensure Operational plans and priorities are aligned with business goals.
  • Stakeholder management of senior colleagues within the Business Practices to ensure Business and Operational plans are aligned.
  • Develop accurate plans for future volumes and resource requirements to ensure high levels of Client Service are maintained.
  • Accountable for Operational Performance of the virtual team, ensuring high levels of Client service are delivered and SLAs/KPIs achieved.
  • Accountable from a Regulatory perspective for the work of the team performed both onshore and offshore.

Requirements

  • A broad understanding of the Marsh business.
  • Uses data to inform strategies and plans, and to monitor and review performance.
  • Identify operational risks and develop mitigating strategies.
  • Adhere to the Marsh E&O and Compliance Standards; Safety, Health and Environment Policy.
  • Good understanding of the business context.
  • Ensuring that operational plans support the delivery of business Practice plans.
  • Data analysis.
  • Projecting a positive attitude to change to maintain morale and support with staff impacted.
