Nursing Home Director

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Nursing Home Director to join our team at TRCGroup. As a Nursing Home Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our nursing home, ensuring that we provide high-quality care and support to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Direction: Provide leadership and direction to our nursing home's staff team, promoting a culture of kindness, compassion, and empathy.
- Staff Management: Recruit, train, motivate, and retain a team of skilled care professionals committed to delivering person-centred care.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that our nursing home meets all regulatory requirements, including those set by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), and maintain excellent standards of care and support.
- Financial Management: Manage the nursing home's budget, ensuring financial targets are met and costs are effectively managed.
- Marketing and Business Development: Develop and implement a strategic marketing plan to maintain full occupancy and promote our nursing home's services to potential residents, families, and stakeholders.
- Relationship Building: Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and all stakeholders, responding effectively to their needs and concerns.
- Administrative Tasks: Oversee all records to ensure that our nursing home's administrative tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor and evaluate the nursing home's performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
- Risk Management: Manage and mitigate risks effectively, ensuring a safe and secure environment for residents and staff.
Requirements:
- Experience: Previous experience managing a nursing home.
- CQC Standards: A strong working knowledge of CQC standards with a proven record of working towards achieving Outstanding ratings.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain effective working relationships with internal and external professionals, families, and visitors.
- Marketing and Business Skills: A proven track record of marketing and business skills within the private care sector, running a commercially successful care home.
- Person-Centred Care: Enthusiasm and passion for developing high levels of person-centred care.
- Team Player: Ability to actively participate in the growth and development of our care service.
