About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Trade Ecommerce Executive to join our team at Ocado Retail Ltd. As a key member of our customer marketing team, you will be responsible for driving conversion and commercial performance through data-driven decisions and customer-centric strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize merchandising levers to drive conversion and sales through customer-friendly and commercially-savvy decisions.
  • Use data to identify opportunities to improve website and app performance, and implement changes to enhance customer experience.
  • Own weekly merchandising and department reporting, and attend department trading meetings as the merchandising representative.
  • Collaborate with the Buying & Promotions teams to drive sales and achieve commercial targets.
  • Make informed trade-offs and prioritization decisions to optimize merchandising on our website and mobile apps.
  • Drive innovation and provide inspiration for our customers through new and engaging shopping experiences.
  • Evaluate and react to competitor merchandising activities and customer trends.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders across the business, including Grocery Buying, Home & Lifestyle, Marketing, Insights, Creative & Branding, Supply Chain, and Suppliers.
Requirements
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to inform decisions.
  • Excellent planning and organization skills, with experience of multitasking and managing multiple deadlines.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with a passion for customer experience.
  • Ecommerce, FMCG, marketing, or shopper insights experience, with a desire to drive commercial performance.
  • Desirable: experience with Content Square, Adobe Analytics, and/or Google Analytics.
