About the Role:

Sleepeezee, a leading premium Bed and Mattress manufacturer in the UK, is seeking an experienced sales leader to head our UK Independent Retail Sales arm. As a key member of the Senior Management team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and developing strong relationships with our independent retail partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of Area Sales Managers and agents to maximize sales revenues and achieve business objectives.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive growth and expand our presence in the UK independent retail market.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including independent retail partners and internal teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Develop and implement sales training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the sales team.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity, providing insights and recommendations to inform business decisions.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of success in sales leadership and business development, with a strong understanding of the UK independent retail market.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop effective solutions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing sales team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other business software applications.
