People Operations Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented People Operations Coordinator to join our team at Ark Victoria Academy. As a key member of our Central People Operations team, you will provide administrative support to our Central Ark teams, ensuring the smooth operation of our HR functions.
Key Responsibilities- Payroll and Benefits Administration: Timely and accurate processing and reconciling of payroll, pensions, and employee benefits.
- Employee Lifecycle Events: Administration of all employee lifecycle events, including offer letters, contracts, contract variations, and references.
- HR Systems Management: Updating HR systems with new starter information, absences, leavers, and other changes.
- Employee Support: Providing guidance to staff and line managers on company policies and procedures, and resolving first-line employee support queries.
- Probation and Performance Management: Ensuring probation, performance appraisal, and sickness management procedures are completed for Ark Central's employees.
- Right to Work in the UK
- Experience in HR: Experience of working in a fast-paced HR function, with a focus on administrative support.
- HR Systems: Familiarity with working with HR data systems, including payroll and pension administration.
- Microsoft Office: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and other relevant tools.
- Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Organizational Skills: Highly organized, with the ability to plan and prioritize own workload to meet deadlines.
- Annual Leave: 27 days annual leave plus bank holidays, rising with each year of service up to 30 days after 3-years' service.
