Overview of the Position:

Assisting individuals from their initial engagement with the service throughout their recovery process Conducting evaluations, assessments, and developing recovery strategies along with referrals to additional services Facilitating a group program focused on non-opiate recovery Aiming to minimize the harm associated with drug and alcohol use for both clients and the broader community Encouraging involvement from caregivers, clients, and the community Advocating for access to collaborative services Collaborating with clients to foster social reintegration, enabling them to lead fulfilling and purposeful lives by promoting recovery, resilience, peer support, and self-determination Partnering with employers and the community to engage individuals who utilize non-opiate substances

Candidate Profile:

Possess a solid understanding of substance misuse challenges and experience in a related field Exhibit excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, along with proficient IT capabilities Demonstrate proactivity and the ability to work independently, showcasing strong time management and prioritization skills Have a comprehensive understanding of mental health interventions, services, and best practices Be a collaborative team member with strong interpersonal abilities, capable of working alongside a diverse range of professionals, agencies, and stakeholders Ability to effectively manage change while prioritizing the needs of clients Recognize the significance of information governance and commit to adhering to all necessary safeguards Actively seek opportunities for professional development and contribute to the learning and growth of others
