Morgan Hunt UK Limited is seeking a skilled Recovery Practitioner to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in providing psychosocial treatments to service users on an initial temporary basis.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will possess the knowledge and expertise to evaluate and interact with clients, ensuring they receive the appropriate intervention at the right time and in the manner that best suits their needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist clients in their therapy or recuperation process, providing a supportive and non-judgmental environment.
  2. Conduct screenings, evaluations, and planning for recovery, as well as referrals to relevant services.
  3. Minimize the harm caused by drugs and alcohol to clients and the community, promoting a culture of recovery and well-being.
  4. Act as an advocate for partnership service access, ensuring clients receive the support they need to achieve their goals.
  5. Facilitate social (re)integration, empowering service users to live meaningful lives through self-determination, resilience, recovery, and peer support.
  6. Deliver structured information to service users in group settings, addressing their needs at different phases of their recovery journey.

Requirements:

  1. Possess a thorough understanding of substance misuse issues or have previous experience working in a related field.
  2. Have a solid working knowledge of mental health services, interventions, and best practices.
  3. Be able to successfully manage change while prioritizing the interests of service users.
  4. Recognize the importance of information governance procedures and commit to adhering to and implementing all required safety measures.
