Mock Court Administrator

This role would suit applicants with an interest in law, charity work, education and finance. As a Mock Court Administrator, you will handle a range of diverse tasks simultaneously. You should be able to cope well under pressure and adapt to change. Good communications skills are essential as well as being able to use Microsoft Excel and Word. It is also preferable to have a good mind for figures. Experience within a role of this sort would be preferred, but is not essential.

The main tasks within this role would be:

- Organising Mock Court events
- Social media, website updates and generic marketing for Mock Court events
- Communicating with legal professionals, local authorities and educationalists
- General administration tasks
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organisational skills, resilience and the ability to juggle a varied and busy workload
- An interest in the activities of the School Mock Court Project and a passion for working with young people
- Excellent administrative and IT skills in Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Experience using major social media platforms, particularly Facebook and Twitter.
- Ability to complete tasks to a high and accurate standard
- Flexible, adaptable and self-motivated

**Job type: Part Time (10am - 3pm, five days per week - 22.5 hours)**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract

Pay: £11.44 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Edinburgh EH6 6NF: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
