Office Administrator

Utopian Professional Recruitment Ltd are delighted to be working exclusively with an established company based in Edinburgh City Centre who are looking to recruit a professional and dedicated Office Administrator on a full time, permanent basis.
This role will report to the Head of Business Services and you will provide first class administrative support to the wider office. This is an office-based role which will be busy and varied, you will be exposed to a wide range of tasks and be a point of contact for all colleagues and visitors to the business.
This opportunity would suit a true professional who loves to get involved, someone who has managed a wide range of tasks previously and been a point of contact for people of all levels across the business, whether you have previously been a PA or Administrator, we are looking for someone who is committed, friendly and efficient. With a great initiative and a positive approach, we are looking for someone who can take ownership and be a trusted member of the team.
**Your key responsibilities will include**:
- Be a point of contact for all visitors
- Facilities management including organising repairs and maintenance, and being a point of contact for all suppliers and maintenance contracts for the building
- Assist with finance administration including credit control, invoicing and processing expenses
- Assist with a wide variety of documentation for internal meetings
- Assist with organising events
- Be a point of contact for IT issues
- Support key stakeholders on a variety of administrative duties including diary management, travel and accommodation
**To be considered for this opportunity, our client does require the following background / experience**:
- Previous background managing a wide variety of tasks and ensuring a business or office runs smoothly and effectively
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability juggle a variety of tasks and prioritise accordingly
- Approachable, kind and friendly with a proactive approach
- Ability to use your initiative, think outside the box and find solutions to problems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A genuine passion for administration and care for people and the business
- You will be the face of the building, therefore professionalism is key
- Naturally positive, hardworking and committed
- Strong work ethic and ability to work as part of a small successful team
