The role will be 40% in 3 local high schools working with a well established team and 60% overseeing the youth program at All Saints Church. This role seeks to grow the existing youth ministry at All Saints, and bridge the gap between school and church, helping young people find their home in the local church.

All Saints Childwall is a lively, welcoming, family friendly church with a congregation from 0-90+ years worshipping in a Grade 1 listed building with strong relationships with the local community.

Liverpool Next Generation (LNG) project is in its fourth year and looking to expand across multiple Churches and schools. The project has seen great success so far, helping 313 new disciples engage in regular forms of discipleship either in school or
Church.
**VISION**:
All Saints is an Evangelical church and our missional desire for a Youth Worker is to see more young people knowing Jesus, being challenged to live lives according to gospel principles, and being encouraged and equipped to join in and serve as part of the body of Christ.

To help young people explore faith and step into Christian community through both the
LNG Schools project and the local community.

To help significant numbers of young people grow in faith and to equip them to help others grow in faith too.

**OBJECTIVE**:
To contribute to seeing 1000+ new disciples aged 11-18 engaging with Church community (with a proportion of these going to All Saints). The role includes: recruitment, support, training, facilitating, ministry, safeguarding, health and safety, and membership of the wider staff team.

**ALL SAINTS CHURCH**:
**Children’s and Youth work has always been a high priority at All Saints Childwall.**

All Saints has a ministry firmly based on God’s Word which applies to life. We are focussed on evangelism and discipleship, seeking to help people on their journey of faith and to explore the basics of faith. We have regular Alpha courses and annual confirmation preparation for young people and adults. We have midweek homegroups and a range of fellowship events for all ages that are provided weekly.

We have a large number of children and young people, providing huge potential, opportunity and challenge. We are actively involved in the community with good relationships with local groups. This includes the Church Acre project next to the church where we have growing beds and bee hives all open to the local community for their involvement.

We have a strong relationship with Childwall CofE Primary school which is in our parish.
The majority of our primary aged children go on to Archbishop Blanch, St Hilda’s or St
Margaret’s for their secondary education.

At All Saints we have previously employed Youth workers for differing lengths of time and are committed to Youth work within our parish and across our wider Deanery. We have weekly Sunday children’s groups for children aged 4-13 which are led by our team of volunteer leaders. We have 2 church parent and toddler groups meeting weekly in the hall. We have a very large Boys Brigade alongside a growing Girls Brigade and
Scouts covering all ages of young people.

**LNG SCHOOLS PATHWAY**:
Your role within the LNG network will also be a significant part of this post. The LNG
School Missional Chaplains are involved with Archbishop Blanch, St Margaret’s, and St
Hilda’s Church of England High Schools. You will work 40% of your time alongside the chaplains delivering quality schools work and building strong relationships with students and staff. LNG uses a flexible missional pathway (below) which utilises different school groups and events to help young people develop in faith and engage with worshiping community.
