Based in the heart of South Liverpool, FireFit, Youth and Community Hub is a cornerstone of the charity Torus Foundation. Its state-of-the-art facilities provide young people and the wider community, access to a wealth of sporting and wellbeing opportunities, seven days a week. Torus Foundation partners with people and places to create a platform for real, lasting change. At FireFit, we do this by unlocking opportunities to empower young people. Our services are designed in collaboration with our members and strategic partners, ensuring the facility inspires and empowers members and the broader community to reach their real potential.

**Your main responsibilities will include**:

- Work closely with the Youth Manager and Lead Youth Workers to manage the Youth Team to support the day-to-day operations of the Fire Fit Hub, creating exciting and innovative opportunities for improving the lives of young people and the wider community.
- To manage the youth work team to ensure a varied youth work programme ensuring young people can engage regardless of sporting ability or experience.
- Deliver, monitor, and review activities in line with Torus Foundation’s Youth Impact Framework and Theory of Change.
- Line manage staff, ensuring performance is managed, and complete regular appraisals and team meetings.
- Ensure all staff are operating in line with FireFit’s Safeguarding, Behaviour Management and Incident Reporting Processes.

**To be successful in this role you will have**:

- A professional Youth Work qualification at level 3 or equivalent experience
- Have experience in leading the design, delivery and evaluation of youth work activities and projects with children and young people.
- Have experience of successful staff and volunteer management, with a passion and commitment to inspire others to change.
- Be experienced in undertaking safeguarding in a setting which includes children, young people, and vulnerable groups.
