- You will support the team to capture evaluation data and evidence from programme delivery and effectively contribute to team meetings.
- You will manage risk by supporting the team to assess the activity and environment and create risk assessments to ensure the activities are safe for all.
- Support the day-to-day administration of your community organisation’s youth service.
- Produce regular case studies / good news stories and contribute to positive marketing of youth work provision, and the Youth Works Apprenticeship programme.
- Support community partner with fundraising as appropriate

**Who are we looking for?**

To be successful in this role you must have a passion for youth work, including a passion to work within the community to help make a difference. You will have a desire to develop your skills and knowledge alongside developing young people within the community. Volunteering or youth work experience is desired, including working with vulnerable adults and young people.

You’ll have excellent communication skills as well as an understanding of building relationships. It is desired you have knowledge of planning and delivering educational youth sessions, knowledge of mentoring in a youth work context and experience in signposting young people to further opportunities. You will have an understanding of inclusive youth work practices and equality, diversity and inclusion in a youth work context, including a commitment to Liverpool FC Foundation’s mission and values.

Desired qualifications:

- Level 1 in Safeguarding Young People
- Level 2 in Youth Work

You will further develop your knowledge on youth work practices and the knowledge and skills above through the training on your apprenticeship.

**Why should you apply?**

This is a full-time fixed-term contract opportunity for a period of 20 months. This role is based in the Anfield Sports and Community Centre in Liverpool; however, the role will involve some work traveling to other locations across Merseyside.

To reward your hard work and commitment we offer a competitive salary, 25 days holiday (plus 8 bank holidays and the option to purchase up to an additional 5 days) and a contributory pension scheme.

You will have access to our benefits kit bag where you can get high street discounts, and a selection of benefit schemes you can join. There are opportunities to get involved with volunteering through our LFC Foundation to give back to the local community.

At Liverpool Football Club, we have an unwavering commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion and are always looking to making a positive difference in the communities that we operate within. We are proud of our achievements in this area; maintaining the Premier League Equality Standard Advanced Level, becoming a founding signatory of the Football Association’s Football Leadership Diversity Code and being recognised as a leader in this important area on and off the pitch.
