Finance and Administration Assistant

Overview / Responsibilities:
Wood is currently recruiting for a Finance and Administrative Assistant to support the Projects F&A leadership team. This role is offered on a part-time basis, working 22.5 hours per week, hybrid working is available for this role and we can offer some flexibility with regard to work pattern.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Ad-hoc BU F&A Leadership Team support as requested.
- Regular scheduled Meetings - Coordinating, organising and attending series of fixed senior team meetings - including owner of calendar and agenda, organising guest speakers, supporting preparations, maintaining action logs and minutes, follow up to actions.
- Organising and maintaining diaries and calendars of BU F&A leadership team
- Quarterly Communications / Townhalls - preparation and organising of communication quick call / townhall for F&A teams.
- Annual / Bi Annual workshops / team building - Co-ordinating, organising and attending F&A team workshops and team building events, including;
- Booking location, supporting development of agenda, preparation of documentation, organising presenters, event, guest speakers, general coordination, maintaining action registers
- Developing and implementing a communications and engagement plan for the BU F&A Leadership
- Monthly report coordination and preparation and submission in line with fixed timelines
- Creation of annual business plan documentation for publishing
- Assisting BU F&A Leadership with tracking progress against annual strategic objectives
- Working with Learning and Development - organising function people development and training events / sessions
- Providing general admin support to BU F&A Leadership
- Creating and maintenance of teams site (Microsoft Teams & Intranet)
- Document preparation as required - Power-point / excel / word.
- Assisting BU F&A Leadership with booking travel and providing travel support
- Weekly Timesheets for BU F&A Leadership
- Submission of Expense claims for BU F&A Leadership
- Arrange IT Requests as and when required.
Skills / Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role - essential
- Excellent organisation skills
- Excellent standard of written communication
- Able to work confidentially with sensitive information
