An opportunity has arisen within our sales team to help us achieve ambitious growth plans by extending our field sales presence. The overall responsibility of the role is focused on building and maintaining relationships with intermediaries, introducersand direct borrowers, by maximising new business opportunities for West One Loans.

**Key Accountabilities**
- Identification and development of new relationships with financial intermediaries, professional introducers and direct investors & developers to originate new business opportunities for bridging and development finance products.
- Maintaining and building on existing relationships business to optimise funding opportunities within your allocated postcodes.
- Manage your own diary and time to always ensure excellent customer service and appropriate levels of contact with key partners.
- Always Complying with West One Loans’TCF and Responsible Lending policies.
- Having a clear understanding credit policy and risk appetite to ensure we offer suitable terms within expected time frames.
- Attendance at Watford head office, when required.
- Attend mortgage and financial services events as required by the business.
- Manage deal flow, use of excel & internal systems to maintain accurate customer records.

The role is field based in and around the South Wales/ West Midlands area, but there will also be a requirement to attend our offices as deemed appropriate in Watford occasionally.

**Skills & Competencies**
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Proactive and able to work on own initiative
- Negotiation skills, technical ability to be able to facilitate and agree deals.
- Good PC/keyboard skills as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office (to include Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Proven achievement of agreed sales targets within set time-scales.

**Knowledge & Qualifications**
- At least 2 years sales experience, preferably within the bridging finance market
- A strong knowledge of bridging finance and development finance markets and competitors.
- Experience in wider specialist finance market would be beneficial.
- Understanding of Treating Customers Fairly, money laundering, data protection, responsible lending, FCA regulation.
- Full clean UK driving licence
