Here at Stonewater, we are now seeking an Assistant Director - Responsive Repairs & Capital Investment to have specific accountability for the delivery of responsive repairs, empty property (void) management and delivery of the capital investment programme.

You will provide effective leadership in the delivery of Stonewater’s national programme of planned investment and major repairs, strategic oversight of the responsive repairs and void maintenance services and engage with Homes teams and the wider Stonewater business to ensure a joined approach to service delivery. You will lead the Homes teams, ensuring the skills and resources required to deliver asset management services on time, to the right quality and in line with budget, and ensure the highest levels of governance, control and financial probity and controls are in place in all contracts and partnering arrangements.
- Be highly organised and self-motivated.
- Have proven experience of leading multi-disciplinary teams at a national level.
- Have a proven ability to develop and lead high performing teams where goals and objectives are clearly articulated, monitored, and discussed on an ongoing basis, with both recognition and development support provided as appropriate.
- Have experience of managing customer facing services at senior level.
- Be financially literate.
- Have excellent business acumen, including strategic and tactical thinking skills.
- Have excellent influencing and persuasion skills.
- Be skilled in reporting facts and presenting ideas, both verbally and in writing, to a range of audiences.
- Be committed to the principles and delivery of quality services, continual improvement, and value maximisation.
- Have excellent knowledge of property law and regulations, performance standards and reporting requirements.
- Have the ability to horizon scan and maintain clear visibility of changing economic/social environments which have the capacity to impact service delivery.
