We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated clinical/counselling or forensic psychologist to join our well-established psychology team within the Central Cluster Adult Acute Services.

It is an excellent time to join, with a newly created consultant clinical psychologist post to provide support and lead the service. Our passionate team works across the largest acute services at Norfolk & Suffolk Foundation Trust, comprising of a crisis resolution home treatment team and five adult inpatient wards.

- Clinical leadership, particularly with regards to MDT decision making, risk management and reduction in restrictive interventions
- Promotion of a psychologically informed culture through use of consultancy, supervision, training, and team formulations.
- Provision of specialist assessments to aid formulation and a service user’s treatment plan
- Working alongside the other psychology colleagues to aid smooth transition and coherent treatment/management plans for patients across the acute service line and wider community services.
- Providing supervision and line management to other members of the psychology team and leading on the day to day running of the team including adherence to evidence base practice, outcome measures and audit data.
- Working alongside the Consultant Clinical Psychologist to help contribute to relevant service and trust wide projects including the serious mental illness and, complex needs and trauma pathways as well as overall delivery on NHS long-term plans linked to the crisis care pathways.

Here at NSFT we pride ourselves on being a welcoming, talented, friendly, and supportive team who like nothing better than sharing experiences and learning from each other. In addition to ongoing training and development opportunities, we are committed to providing an environment in which you can thrive.

Why work for us?We have challenges as a Trust, but we have ambitious aspirations, are pushing ahead with exciting transformation work and we need dedicated individuals to support us on our journey. We have strong, established nursing networks coupled with an exceptional leadership team who will ensure you are truly cared for and cared about.
