Established in 1993, Safeplay Playground Services are a fast growing, successful company specialising in the inspection, repair, maintenance and installation of play equipment in public playgrounds. Working closely with local authorities and housing associations across the South East, the Company’s services are carried out within British and European safety standards such as EN1176 and in compliance with health and safety law and recommendations.

Safeplay have built up an excellent reputation for customer service and are now looking to grow the Administration team with the addition of an experienced Operational Administrator.

As an operational administrator you will be responsible for the day to day management of a designated set of clients, reporting directly to the Office Manager, but also working closely with the Directors to provide an exceptional level of service in an often fast-paced environment. This is a long-established role, working in a team of 6 based in Beckenham, Kent. Homeworking will be available, however we are very much a team and as such it is essential to be in the office on a regular basis.

**The role**:

- Manage the inspection process for clients from start to finish, including ensuring inspections take place on time and quotes are raised quickly - through to sending and chasing payment of invoices
- Maintain accurate client records to an agreed standard and ensuring consistency
- Liaise with Safeplay inspectors and customers with regards to on-going issues at the time of the inspections and the coordination of the completed inspection reports
- Process any work orders following the inspection, providing the Operations Team with worklists and any other pertinent information relating to the contract
- Liaise with Engineers and Operations to resolve any site access issues or work queries
- Maintain an awareness of any specific contractual requirements client may have
- Ensure the playground inspection schedule is kept 100% up to date and changes communicated to inspectors in good time
- Respond to requests promptly, particularly if they relate to emergency works
- Ad-hoc quotes for new and non-inspection clients as requested
- Promote the various aspects of the Safeplay business to clients as appropriate
- Any other ad-hoc internal or external tasks as deemed appropriate

**Key Attributes**:

- Minimum 3 years experience in similar client facing office role
- Professional manner
- ability to use MS Office excel to a proficient standard, particularly Outlook and Excel
- Strong administration skills
- Must have the ability to plan, prioritise and organise own workload effectively
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Proven problem solving skills
- Good standard of written English
- Confident telephone manner
- Local to Beckenham

**Hours**: Monday to Friday
