As Head of Market Insights, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of research and competitive intelligence strategies that provide actionable insights to support our commercial objectives.

You will be a key player in shaping our understanding of market trends and the competitive landscape. Your role will involve working closely with cross-functional teams to identify key research questions, design and implement studies and present insights and recommendations to senior leadership. Understanding market and consumer trends in grocery commerce and adjacent markets and using this knowledge and know-how to prioritize opportunities internally.

***Accountabilities**:

- Drive Business Intelligence: You will be responsible for developing a deep understanding of the company's market and competition, and using this information to provide actionable market insights that drive business decisions.
- Develop Market Insights Strategy: You will be responsible for developing and executing a data-driven insights strategy that aligns with the company's overall business objectives.
- Conduct Analysis: You will be responsible for conducting analysis of market trends, competitor analysis, and other data sources to identify opportunities and risks for the company.
- Deliver Insights: You will be responsible for delivering insights to key stakeholders across the company, including the executive team, product teams, commercial teams, and marketing teams.
- Collaborate with other teams: You will collaborate with other teams across the company, including commercial, product strategy, data analysis, marketing, and product, to ensure that insights are effectively integrated into their decision-making processes.
- Stay Current: You will stay current with the latest trends and best practices in market research, and use this knowledge to continually improve the company's market insights and competitive intelligence capabilities.

***Skills, Experience and Qualifications**
- Market research: proven track record of identifying opportunities, designing studies and conducting research and analysis into market trends and competitive intelligence in the technology B2B space
- Business acumen: Have a solid understanding of business operations, financial management, and strategic planning. Connect insights to business goals and make recommendations that align with the company's overall strategy.
- Communication skills: Communicate complex data and insights to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner. Tailoring communications to different audiences and presenting insights in a way that is easily understandable.
- Leadership skills: Have strong leadership skills, including the ability to inspire and motivate team members, set clear goals, and provide constructive feedback.
- Experience: 10 + years of experience in marketing research and competitive insights in B2B tech or similar field.. With a proven track record for delivering insights that have had a significant impact on business performance.
