Role Overview:

This position is ideal for an individual with a solid background in research, ideally with over four years of experience in an internal insights department or a consumer research firm. As a Lead Market Research Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in shaping strategic decisions by influencing a diverse group of stakeholders across the organization. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing, managing, and executing various research projects.
  • Transforming research findings into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Advocating for the customer perspective throughout the organization.
  • Collaborating with multiple departments, particularly the Insight and Marketing teams.
  • Possessing the autonomy to lead and oversee projects, including the potential to mentor junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implementing effective qualitative and quantitative research methodologies to address stakeholder inquiries.
  • Overseeing the entire research process from proposal development to analysis and knowledge dissemination.
  • Presenting insights and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and engaging manner.
  • Managing project timelines and identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements.
  • Collaborating with external agencies to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables.
  • Becoming proficient in the self-service research tools available within the team.
  • Promoting best practices in research methodologies and championing the research function within the organization.

Essential Skills:

  • Comprehensive understanding of both qualitative and quantitative research techniques.
  • Experience in designing, recruiting, sampling, and analyzing research data.
  • Familiarity with customer satisfaction and brand tracking studies.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Commercial awareness and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proficiency in presentation software and data visualization tools.
  • Ability to approach problems with a hypothesis-driven mindset.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the capacity to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A proactive attitude towards conveying customer insights.
