The Market Access Director will play a critical role in supporting the Viatris commercial organization in the UK and Ireland by developing and executing a comprehensive market access strategy.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify new opportunities for business growth, preparing the market conditions for the launch of new products and negotiating access to Viatris medicines in the UK and Ireland.
- Develop and implement product-specific market access strategies and materials, generating economic value data based on clinical and health economic evidence and outcomes research.
- Ensure alignment and cross-functional coordination with overall brand and key generic products strategy, building in flexibility to adapt to changes affecting customers, competition, and context.
- Work closely with the European Market Access Team/Network to ensure input into regional and global strategies, considering UK and Irish payer requirements.
- Stay up-to-date with relevant knowledge through participation in/following advisory boards, conferences, analysis, internal and external engagements, and tracking of local P&R developments.
- Master's degree in health economics, life sciences, medicine, or equivalent.
- Extensive experience in the market access space in the UK and Irish pharmaceutical market.
- In-depth understanding of HEOR, leading integrated projects with specialist teams.
- Strong communication, project management, organizational, and planning skills.
- Ability to synthesize, interpret, and translate data into clear commercial strategies.
- Fluent in English; other languages are an advantage.
