Medical Bank Co-ordinator

We have an exciting opportunity that has arisen at Blackpool Teaching Hospitals as a Medical Bank Coordinator.
To provide an office-based service assisting the Medical Bank Team Leader and other members of the Medical Bank to organise Bank workers with a zero-hour worker agreement engaged with the trust, to work in areas across the trust footprint, providing support and assistance with the governance arrangements as appropriate. To work under the directive of the Senior Manager for Temporary Workforce and the senior divisional management teams being accountable for the assigned administration procedures and specific work mentioned in the duties and responsibilities of this post
Act as the first point of contact point for Medical Bank enquiries and assist in the register of new staff with Zero Hour worker agreements.
Liaise with Rota Coordinators, Directorate Managers and workers regarding any queries and booked hours appropriately.

Liaise with Rota Coordinators, Directorate Managers and workers regarding any queries and booked hours appropriately. Support Medical Deployment team with Bank queries. File accurate HR records for staff on Zero Hour agreements only including personal files and database - deal with this in confidence. Provide data for weekly/monthly and ad hoc reports as required for the service and to high level management as required. Complete reporting locally and for NHS England; i.e. Annual Organisational Audit and monthly statistics as necessary.
Assist with co-ordination of Recruitment activity both internally and externally. Organise own tasks/plan and prioritises workload, working autonomously but seek advice where necessary.
Deputise for the Medical Bank Team Leader when on AL. Any other duties appropriate for the efficient running of the service adapting to changes as necessary. To maintain a good knowledge of all aspects of the work of the team, the wider NHS environment, liaising as required with colleagues within other Directorates, NHS Trusts and external organisations as necessary.
