Reporting to the People Operations Administration Team Leader, the main purpose of this role is to provide an effective and efficient administrative and processing support service to the People Operations Team and to support the team in developing, managing and reviewing administrative processes and services. The People Operations Team is primarily responsible for HR workflow and is the first point of contact for written and telephone enquiries. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate HR records.
The role involves a wide range of responsibilities - including answering the phones, progressing safeguarding checks, production of letters and other documents, inputting payroll details, routine financial processing, maintaining spreadsheets and updating HR databases. Your challenge will be to manage a varied workload against tight deadlines whilst maintaining the highest standards.
You will be passionate and motivated with a commitment to the NSPCC and its fight for every childhood. You will have excellent customer service and communication skills. You will be able to demonstrate: experience of working in a customer focused environment, an ability to work to a high level of accuracy to meet demanding deadlines and a positive approach to change.
