**Work Hours: 3:45pm - 6:00pm, Mon-Fri, Term Time (37 weeks per year). £18.00 per hour.**

We are currently looking for an After School Club Leader for our small Independent school based in Eccles. Our wrap around childcare provision is at the heart of our school community and supports our wonderful families with their wider needs. The After School Club is a time for children to unwind and relax after a busy day at school and a time where fun and smiles are high on the agenda

Main Duties:

- To provide a safe and welcoming environment for children, parents and carers.
- To provide the highest standards of childcare and excellent levels of customer service at all times.
- To understand fully and adhere to the company’s policies and procedures at all times.
- To plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities and evaluate as required.
- To demonstrate knowledge and understanding of child development relevant to 4 - 11 year olds.
- To have an understanding that safeguarding is everybody’s responsibility and that you have a duty to act accordingly & report any concerns.
- To ensure the smooth running of the After School Club Provision, including excellent team-work and communication with colleagues.

You will Need:

- To hold a relevant qualification to at least NVQ level 3 or equivalent suitable qualifications that would support the role.
- To have a sound understanding of the current legislation relating to the Safeguarding of children and the responsibilities that go with this.
- Previous experience of working with Primary aged children.
- To be hard working, professional and reliable and keep good time keeping.
- To be an effective communicator and be able to work effectively with all stakeholders including school leaders and parents and carers.
- To have experience of working with children with Special Educational Needs.
