An exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual to become part of the Lancashire Cricket Club team as a Food & Beverage Supervisor.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in assisting the management team to ensure that the Food & Beverage staff are well-prepared and knowledgeable, providing our guests with an outstanding experience from arrival to departure. You will also be expected to take charge as the senior representative of the hotel when necessary.
The Lancashire Cricket Club venue is a distinctive establishment situated within a premier multi-purpose location that hosts a variety of significant events, ranging from international cricket matches to major concerts.
With 250 guest rooms, including 140 that overlook the pitch, a restaurant serving breakfast and dinner with views of the field, and a bar, the venue seamlessly integrates with the stadium and the events it accommodates.
This position offers a unique chance to be involved in a vibrant environment where you are not merely working in a hotel, but also in a celebrated cricket and concert venue.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee a bustling service environment, addressing any challenges that may arise.
- Effectively communicate and delegate tasks to the service team.
- Greet guests in a courteous and friendly manner.
- Take and deliver customer orders, consistently demonstrating high standards of guest service.
- Prepare table setups in the restaurant.
- Adhere to payment processing protocols.
- Manage guest inquiries promptly and efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with brand standards.
- Accurately handle and record all Food & Beverage sales.
- Maintain readiness of the Food & Beverage department at all times.
- Ensure appropriate stock levels are maintained according to established procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness in work areas.
- Comply with hotel security, fire regulations, and all health and safety legislation.
- Adhere to local licensing laws.
- Assist other departments as needed and foster positive working relationships.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience supervising a hotel team in a 4-star branded environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with integrated Food & Beverage till systems.
- Prior experience in Food & Beverage service within a hotel setting.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- High level of IT proficiency.
- Ability to perform under pressure.
- Commitment to delivering exceptional guest service.
- Positive attitude and outstanding communication skills.
- Capability to manage and inspire a team.
- Effective assignment and planning of work tasks.
