An exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual to become part of the Lancashire Cricket Club team as a Food & Beverage Supervisor.

In this role, you will be instrumental in assisting the management team to ensure that the Food & Beverage staff are well-prepared and knowledgeable, delivering an outstanding experience for our guests from the moment they arrive until their departure. You will also be expected to step in as the senior representative of the hotel when necessary.

The Lancashire Cricket Club is a distinguished venue, renowned for hosting a variety of significant events, including international cricket matches and popular concerts. Our facility features 250 rooms, including 140 that offer stunning views of the pitch, a restaurant serving breakfast and dinner with a picturesque backdrop, and a bar that complements the vibrant atmosphere.

This position presents a unique chance to be part of a dynamic environment where you are not merely working in a hotel, but within a premier cricket and concert venue.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee a bustling service environment, addressing any challenges that may arise.
  • Effectively communicate and delegate tasks to the service team.
  • Greet guests warmly and courteously.
  • Accurately take and deliver customer orders, consistently showcasing high standards of guest service.
  • Prepare dining setups in the restaurant area.
  • Adhere to payment processing protocols.
  • Handle guest inquiries promptly and efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with brand standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of all Food & Beverage transactions.
  • Guarantee that the Food & Beverage department is always ready for service.
  • Monitor stock levels in accordance with established procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.
  • Comply with hotel security, fire regulations, and health and safety laws.
  • Adhere to local licensing regulations.
  • Support other departments as needed while fostering positive working relationships.

Essential Requirements

  • Prior experience supervising a hotel team in a four-star branded environment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with integrated Food & Beverage point-of-sale systems.
  • Experience in Food & Beverage service within a hotel setting.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills.
  • Proficient IT skills.
  • Ability to perform under pressure.
  • Dedication to providing exceptional guest service.
  • Positive demeanor and outstanding communication abilities.
  • Capability to lead and inspire a team.
  • Effective planning and assignment of tasks.
