An exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual to step into the role of F&B Supervisor within our esteemed establishment.

As the F&B Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in assisting the management team to ensure that the Food & Beverage staff are well-prepared and equipped to provide our guests with an outstanding experience from arrival to departure. You will also serve as the senior representative of the hotel when required.

The Lancashire Cricket Club is not just a venue; it is a vibrant hub that hosts a variety of significant events, including international cricket matches and popular concerts.

Our facility features 250 guest rooms, including 140 that overlook the pitch, a restaurant offering breakfast and dinner with stunning views, and a bar that complements our award-winning conference and event spaces.

This position offers a unique chance to be part of a dynamic environment where you are not merely working in a hotel but contributing to a venue that is alive with sporting and entertainment events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee a bustling service environment, addressing any challenges that may arise.
  • Effectively communicate and delegate tasks to the service team.
  • Greet guests warmly and professionally.
  • Take and deliver customer orders while consistently demonstrating exceptional guest service.
  • Prepare dining setups in the restaurant.
  • Adhere to payment processing protocols.
  • Manage guest inquiries promptly and efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with brand standards.
  • Accurately handle and record all Food & Beverage transactions.
  • Maintain readiness of the F&B department at all times.
  • Ensure stock levels are managed according to established procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.
  • Comply with security, fire safety regulations, and health legislation.
  • Adhere to local licensing regulations.
  • Support other departments as needed and foster positive working relationships.

Essential Requirements

  • Prior experience supervising a hotel team in a 4-star branded environment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with integrated Food & Beverage point-of-sale systems.
  • Experience in Food & Beverage service within a hotel context.
  • Strong organizational and administrative capabilities.
  • Proficient IT skills.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure.
  • Dedication to delivering high-quality guest service.
  • Positive demeanor and excellent communication abilities.
  • Capability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Effective planning and assignment of tasks.
