The Administrative Support Officer will work within a multi-professional team and will be required to provide a range of secretarial and clerical services to support the smooth running of day to day operational tasks to the Therapies Falls and Urgent Community Response Programme.

The post holder will have an organised and flexible approach and have an understanding of relevant clinical systems and word processing skills.

Act as a communication link for the Therapies Falls and Urgent Community Response services. Good verbal and written communication skills are essential.

Receive and open mail and ensure urgent mail is acted on.

Answer the telephone and take appropriate messages - communicating with team members, key stakeholders, patients and their families.

To book appointments.

To process letters.

To set up new clinical files.

To support with performance management by collating and retrieving required data sets.

Communicate to all disciplines within the service, key stakeholders, patients and their families.

Adhere to the UHB policies / procedures and standards.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this role; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
