**About Marketplace**

Marketplace is a brand-new online venture for Tesco, designed to give our customers the opportunity to use our website to shop for a wide range of third-party products in addition to the groceries they already know and love. Our initial focus will be on pet food, health and beauty products and alcohol, and as with other online marketplaces, sellers will fulfil orders directly. **Life on the team**

As a creative pioneer with a passion for seller partnerships you will be instrumental in contributing to an innovative business developer. The key to the Marketplace team’s success will be its ability to work with many other teams in the wider Tesco family, including Finance, Digital Product and Online Operations. No two days will be the same as you become an expert in your area of the Marketplace model. We’re building Tesco’s future, and it’s a future shaped by you.

You will be responsible for
- Collaborate with sellers to optimise sales opportunities and strengthen our partnership.
- Address seller inquiries promptly by collaborating with relevant internal teams
- Act as the main point of contact for sellers and build positive and profitable relationships
- Ensure compliance by accurately recording all agreements

You will need
- A confident communicator with superb influencing skills
- Strong organisation skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders
- An understanding of online business models
- Experience of working in a fast pace commercial retail environment is advantageous
- Motivational programme and project management skills
- Inspirational communication, interpersonal and teamworking skills
- Self-motivated and proactive attitude with acute attention to detail
