About the role

- Leading a team of experts who are accountable for managing seller partnerships, the relationships and ensuring we achieve the agreed commercial outcomes.
- Working alongside the Tesco Commercial colleagues to develop and execute category level strategies.
- Establishing effective ways of working with the Seller Acquisition team and Tesco Commercial teams.
- Building, managing and growing the capability of a team of Seller Partners.
- Ensuring there is a long term customer led plan, which drives customer loyalty.
- Solving seller queries and disputes, including identifying key issues and developing effective solutions
- Delivering budget, by monitoring and driving partner performance, managing bad debt and providing accurate forecasts, always being cost conscious
- Effectively using insight to understand customer needs, market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities
- Managing partner performance, supporting them to build long term partner relationships with us through both strategy and growth
- Enabling my team to negotiate commercial agreements with partners, ensuring all agreements are recorded in writing, and leading a culture of compliance within my team
- Actively developing improvement of our processes, operations and methodology
- Leading an agile business squad, supporting with the adoption of agile ways of working and providing clarity through OKRs
- Developing and leading a high performing team, giving them opportunities to be their best
- Following our Business Code of Conduct and always acting with integrity and due diligence

You will be responsible for

- Ability to influence at all levels

**Experience relevant for this job**:

- Experience operating in a commercial, retail environment (preference for experience working with external suppliers)
- Experience working in e-commerce
- Account management experience
- Record of effective joint business planning, programme management and delivery of cross-functional initiatives
- Strategy formulation, business development, corporate development in Online / Retail context
