About the role
Our Global Partnerships team is responsible for delivering the objectives set by the Tesco Group Agreement Framework. We lead the Tesco Group in partnering with the largest, most forward thinking Branded suppliers to unlock joint growth opportunities and priorities. This role requires ongoing stakeholder management internally and externally, to develop trusted relationships with suppliers. You will be at the heart of strategic engagement plans; co-ordinating and preparing executive top-to-top briefing documents used across both our UK & Global businesses.

You will be responsible for
- Working closely with other teams in the Product division, such as Buying teams, Product Proposition, Promotions & Trade Planning, to ensure our full commercial strategy is aligned and implemented efficiently.
- Support the delivery of key strategic projects across the product and channel teams Co-ordinating and authorizing top-to-top briefs for Global & UK meetings, working with the senior leadership team and the Executive Assistants for the CEO, CPO & CCO. Taking views from across the Product teams and combining with our data insights build and format our group commercial commentary.
- Using a combination of data and business understanding to turn data into insight, root causing issues, defining problems, crafting creative solutions and implementing them in the business.
- Maintaining & developing our suite of insight reports to give our operators and leadership visibility of how the business is performing and what we need to do to improve.
- Reporting data accurately and turning it into useful information which has context and supporting narrative.
- Owning a project; build engagement, influence relevant stakeholders and deliver change in line with turning points.
- Adhering to all Tesco policies, storage and hand-over protocols and successfully completing all my training so that I have zero GSCOP breaches.
- Ensuring all agreements are recorded in writing, reporting GSCOP complaints to Legal within 48 hours of receipt, and leading a culture of compliance within the team.
- Following our Business Code of Conduct and always acting with integrity and due diligence.

You will need
**Operational Skills**:

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills, translating complex issues into clear and practical frameworks and insights
- Strong eye for business and the drive to make changes to the way the company operates
- Strong Excel, Word & power Point skills.

**Experience**:

- Simplify complex issues and implement practical solutions
- The ability to innovate new and pragmatic solutions using your own ideas
- Able to work across various cultures
