We are seeking to recruit a number of Clinic Administrators across our Community sites in Hillingdon who can work full time Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday ,Thursday and Friday working 7.5 hours per day across these community centre clinics in the borough of Hillingdon.

Northwood Health Centre - Northwood HA6

Hesa Centre - Hesa Town centre - UB3

Uxbridge Health centre - Uxbridge Town Centre - UB8

Applicants must have some flexibility to work across all weekdays and to work across community sites in Hillingdon to meet the needs of the service.

Hillingdon Community Health (HCH) the local NHS Provider of community health services in Hillingdon also providing some services in neighbouring boroughs. Part of the Community Services Division of Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust (CNWL), our head office is based within Beaufort House, Central Uxbridge.

Clinic Administrators work closely with people who use our Services, their families, friends and carers and play an important contribution in how people experience our services. Clinic Administrators are expected to be kind and responsive but professional and informative and contribute to the quality of the services we provide by:
The Clinic Administrator post is required to work as part of a team to provide full clerical and administrative support to the clinical services within the Trust. The role has responsibility for ensuring smooth operation of the site; from the perspective of patients and clinical staff.

Hillingdon Community Health operates services from a number of sites across the London Borough of Hillingdon and the Clinic Administrator post is required to work flexibly across sites to provide cover as required.

In addition, future commissioning requirement may dictate the need for clinic administrative staff to work evenings or weekends as part of a shift system to support out of hours clinical working.

In particular, the Clinic Administrator’s role covers responsibility for the day to day smooth running of the site, for dealing with the general public and staff, reception and telephone work, office administration, correspondence, computer data input, word processing, filing and assisting HCP’s at Child Health clinics.

We have approximately 7,000 staff that provide healthcare to a third of London's population and across wider geographical areas, including Milton Keynes, Kent, Surrey and Hampshire.

The Clinic Administrator role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth running of the Clinic. You will support the Clinic Supervisor in delivering a first class service to both patients and CNWL staff.
- The role includes reception duties, office administration, data entry, photocopying, printing, and ordering supplies.
- You will be dealing with the general public and staff, reception duties and telephone work, and office administration, along with supporting our Health Care Professionals to support Service Delivery.
- There will be a requirement in this role to work at other sites across HCH and you may be required to assist at children’s health Centre’s supporting our Health Visitor’s in Child development clinics.
- You will be working within a busy team and will be required to have a conscientious, caring and enthusiastic approach in your role.
- A high standard of IT skills, numeracy and organisational skills are required. Excellent customer facing qualities are essential to this role, knowledge and skills along with excellent communication skills are absolutely essential.
- You will have previous administrative experience and be able to work in an environment which is constantly changing.
- You will be capable of managing your time effectively, meeting deadlines and using your own initiative.
- Excellent communication skills are vital as the post holder will be liaising with a variety of stakeholders.
- Excellent customer facing qualities are essential for this role.
