Overview:
As an Apprentice Office Admin Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our administrative operations. You will work closely with our Office Manager and other team members to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of our office. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, proactive, and able to handle various administrative tasks including paperwork, understanding procedures, and form filling.
**Responsibilities**:
- Handle paperwork, read and understand procedures, and fill forms accurately and efficiently
- Maintain and update office records, databases, and filing systems
- Coordinate and schedule appointments, meetings, and events
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- Support the preparation of reports, presentations, and correspondence
- Assist in managing office supplies and inventory
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records
- Provide administrative support to various departments as needed
- Help maintain a clean and organized office environment
**Requirements**:
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Previous administrative experience is a plus but not required
**Qualifications**:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in office administration are a plus
- Must be eligible to work in the UK
