Are you a Systems Administrator with experience of working in a mixed Windows and Unix environment? Our successful and global client based near Bangor, Gwynedd is looking for an experienced IT Systems Administrator who is keen to work for a business thatis on the technical forefront.In a role where you will work as part of team that manages the IT infrastructure whilst managing the requirements of the organisation and it's clients.

In the Systems Administrator role, you will be responsible for:

- Maintaining the IT infrastructure, including workstations, servers, and network infrastructure
- Maintaining two production-level data centre installations, including physical servers, networking, and virtualised infrastructure
- Building and maintaining the Linux-based servers which run the core products
- Providing input into both overall IT strategy and individual IT solutions
- Deliver and maintain infrastructure solutions to meet the requirements of the internal and external customers ensuring that delivery is agreed specification, quality, timescales, and budget
- Delivering a high-level of service to internal and external customers
- Adhere to and to be able to report on, performance against Service Level Agreements
- Contributing to Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery planning, testing and implementation

To be considered for the Systems Administrator role, you will need following skills and experience:

- Degree educated or equivalent experience
- Experience of Unix-type systems, preferably RedHat Linux
- Knowledge of networking - TCP/IP, addressing and routing
- Scripting/software development skills for automation of tasks
- Desire to learn new skills and stay abreast of technology changes, cyber security, and available 3rd party products
- Previous experience of Linux systems administration
- Experience of bash and Python scripting languages
- Working knowledge of Windows server administration
- Database administration and SQL experience, particularly MySQL
- Network administration - firewalls, routers, and switches
- Experience with virtualisation - VMware
- Relevant Industry certifications, particularly Cisco (CCNA)
- Full driving license and willingness for occasional travel to UK data centres

This role is a full-time permanent role, working 37.5 hours per week, in return you will receive a competitive salary depending on previous skills and experience.
